Sigurður Trausti Karvelsson, Project Coordinator of Terraforming LIFE, presented the project at the LIFE Programme annual meeting in Iceland, held at the Nordic House on 28 May. The meeting was organised by Rannís and brought together representatives from projects, authorities and other stakeholders to review the status of LIFE projects in Iceland, share experiences and discuss key challenges and opportunities.
Focus on lessons learned and challenges
In his presentation, Sigurður Trausti discussed the main challenges associated with implementing large-scale collaborative projects in the field of circular economy and sustainability. He also highlighted the lessons learned through Terraforming LIFE, including aspects related to the application process, supply chains and regulatory frameworks.
